The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services organized an awareness and recreational camp for 225 working children and their families from the communities of Ezbet Khairallah, Khalifa, and Manshiyat Nasser. The camp aimed to encourage children to continue their education and reduce school dropout rates.
During the camp, school bags containing essential supplies were distributed to support and motivate children to complete their studies. The day also included various recreational activities, such as arts and crafts workshops and coloring sessions, to encourage children to express their feelings and develop their creative skills.
The artistic team presented a puppet theater performance featuring the beloved Aragoz character, addressing the issue of bullying and the importance of respecting and valuing others. The performance left a positive impact and brought joy and happiness to the children.
The camp was implemented by the Local Development Unit of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services as part of the Early Childhood Development and Children at Risk program. It was conducted under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work and in partnership with the Cultural Park for Children.
