Message from the President about Volunteering
Volunteers’ Success Stories
The Concept of Volunteering
financial, in-kind, or physical — done willingly and out of personal motivation.
It stems from a person’s sense of responsibility toward the community they live in and aims to contribute to the common good, support cooperation, and help reduce suffering and the impact of crises faced by society, in order to achieve public benefit and social welfare.
The Concept of Experiential Training
It is a process of training, learning, and skill-building that takes place through presence and practical experience.
This approach helps trainees to live and engage in real work environments, while voluntarily carrying out the tasks assigned to them by their supervisors and mentors.
Objectives of Volunteering
Mobilizing local resources and investing the potential and capacities of individuals, whether financial, physical, intellectual, time, social relations, information, or skills, to serve the community and the most vulnerable groups, and to contribute to building and developing local communities.
Working on capacity building, increasing effectiveness, and promoting the values of citizenship and positive participation in general, especially among younger generations.
Enhancing the efforts of volunteers to serve community causes, especially economic issues.
Objective of Experiential Training
Contributing to providing an interactive work environment for young people, which helps enhance their abilities and increase their skills in adapting to and dealing with the actual labor market in a more professional and competent manner, thus supporting their success and development in their professional lives.
