In the Presence of the Minister of Social Solidarity, the Coptic Evangelical Organization Signs a Financing Agreement for Microfinance Projects.

The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services signed a financing agreement for microfinance projects with the Rural and Environmental Industries Support Fund, under the Smart Microfinance Project funded by Banque Misr, as part of the Strategic Financial System for Economic Empowerment Program.

Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Rural and Environmental Industries Support Fund, witnessed the signing of financing agreements with four civil society associations and institutions representing the second group of partner organizations participating in the project.

The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services was represented in signing the agreement by Mr. Mamdouh Mortagy, Director of Microfinance at the organization, while Ms. Engy El-Yamany, Executive Director of the Rural and Environmental Industries Support Fund, signed on behalf of the Fund.

The cooperation aims to support target groups by providing access to microfinance, expanding employment and production opportunities, and improving the living and economic conditions of families, thereby contributing to the state’s efforts to promote economic empowerment and build a productive society.

Dr. Maya Morsy affirmed that the Rural and Environmental Industries Support Fund contributes to financing small and micro enterprises, creating sustainable job opportunities, and supporting productive projects in ways that enhance the economic and social development of target groups.
