Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki Concludes Meetings of the Evangelical Organization’s International Partners in Minya

True development is based on cooperation and integration between the state, civil society, and international partners
Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki, Head of the Evangelical Denomination in Egypt and President of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS), concluded the tour of the Organization’s international partners in Egypt. The tour included a series of official and field visits and meetings in the governorates of Cairo and Minya, with the participation of CEOSS’s key international partners representing several European countries, the United States of America, and Canada.
During the tour, shared development issues were discussed, and models of the Organization’s projects were presented in the fields of economic development, dialogue and acceptance of others, and agricultural development, within the framework of strengthening cooperation and partnership between the Organization and various institutions working in the field of development inside and outside Egypt.
In his remarks at the closing meeting, Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki expressed his deep appreciation to the international and local partners participating in the tour, affirming that the Coptic Evangelical Organization represents a leading national model in development work based on partnership and integration with the Egyptian state and its institutions.
Dr. Zaki stated:
“We believe that true development can only be achieved through cooperation and integration between state institutions, civil society, and international partners, within a framework of mutual trust and respect, in order to build the Egyptian individual and promote the values of citizenship and acceptance of others.”
The international partners also expressed their appreciation for the expertise and leadership of the Coptic Evangelical Organization in the field of development work in Egypt, praising the efforts of the Egyptian state in supporting development issues through close cooperation with civil society organizations, and highlighting the Organization’s role as an effective and influential strategic partner in this field.
They emphasized that the Egyptian experience in sustainable development represents an inspiring model in the region, and expressed their keenness to continue cooperation and exchange expertise with the Coptic Evangelical Organization in a way that serves the goals of human and community development in Egypt.
The tour concluded with field visits in Minya Governorate, including meetings with members of the local community and a number of beneficiaries of the Organization’s projects, reaffirming the Organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting integrated development and building bridges of trust and cooperation with all partners for a better future for Egyptian society.
This tour coincided with the celebrations of the Coptic Evangelical Organization’s Diamond Jubilee, marking seventy-five years since its establishment. The celebrations also included a visit by the Head of the Evangelical Denomination and the international delegation to the Egyptian House of Representatives in the New Administrative Capital, underscoring the Organization’s leading role in supporting dialogue and strengthening cooperation between civil society and legislative and development institutions in Egypt.
