The Evangelical Coptic Authority is organizing a conference titled “Contribute with Your Voice… Building Egypt’s Future” in the presence of Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki.
Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki emphasized that participation is the foundation of shaping the future, and building and preserving Egypt are the responsibilities of all. He praised the National Alliance as a significant turning point in the history of social work in Egypt, emphasizing the importance of improving the relationship between civil society and the government.
Dr. Talaat Abdelqawi described the head of the Evangelical community as a significant Egyptian figure, praising the diversity and services provided by the Evangelical Authority in various fields. He stressed the importance of participation as a constitutional duty and right, pointing to the “Azraa” initiative as a great initiative that benefited a large number of farmers.
On the other hand, Dr. Hoda Roman affirmed strong political support in the field of citizenship, commending the successes achieved by the Egyptian state in issues related to citizen rights, diversity, and citizenship.
The Local Development Sector of the Evangelical Coptic Authority for Social Services organized a conference under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil and Developmental Work, with the participation of 1,000 farmers and beneficiaries of the “Azraa” initiative, as well as leaders and members of the boards of directors of Egyptian civil society institutions.
The conference also included Dr. Talaat Abdelqawi, the head of the General Union of Civil Institutions and Associations, Dr. Hoda Roman, the head of the Public Opinion Department at the National Center for Social Research, and Ms. Margret Sarofim, the head of the Local Development Sector at the Evangelical Coptic Authority for Social Services. Success stories of beneficiaries, including farmers and people with disabilities, were presented, in addition to programs and activities of the Evangelical Coptic Authority.
The President of the Evangelical Coptic Authority for Social Services welcomed all attendees and participants, extending greetings to the head of the General Union of Civil Institutions and Associations, and Dr. Hoda Roman, commending their prominent role in the development of services for the Egyptian society. Abdulqawi emphasized that “participation is a constitutional duty and right, and the current stage and circumstances require someone to support the country’s stability in the face of global changes, possessing the vision and sufficient insight to deal with crises with the aim of supporting security and stability in the country.”
Dr. Hoda Roman affirmed in her speech that “the current period witnesses significant political support in the field of citizenship, and the Egyptian state has achieved clear results in important issues that affect the rights of citizens and support diversity and citizenship.”
