The meeting of the head of the Evangelical Community in Egypt with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance and the Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity to discuss cooperation and sustainable development.

CEOSS’ president Meets Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance, in the Presence of the Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity

Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki, Head of the Evangelical Community in Egypt and President of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS), received today, Monday, at the Evangelical headquarters, Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance, along with Ms. Margret Sarofim, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, and the accompanying delegation, which included Mr. Hatem Metwally, a member of the National Alliance’s Founding Committee, and Ms. Marwa Labda, a member of the Technical Secretariat. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Evangelical Organization, including Mr. Momtaz Gerges, Vice President of the Organization, Mr. Bassem Badee, Head of Financial Affairs, Mr. Rafik Nagy, Director of Development Projects in the Delta Region, Ms. Magda Ramzy, Acting Director of Comprehensive Rural Development in the Delta Region, and Mr. Magid Boulos, Deputy Director of Rural Development at the Evangelical Organization.

Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki welcomed the guests, expressing his appreciation for the role of the National Alliance in supporting the journey of sustainable development in Egypt. He emphasized that “the National Alliance is a strong pillar in advancing community services and achieving comprehensive development that targets all sectors of society, especially the most in need.” He also praised the ongoing work in the “Ezraa” initiative, which aims to serve the interests of the Egyptian people.

Engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance, highlighted “the prominent role played by the Evangelical Organization through the Ezraa initiative, which aims to enhance food security and achieve sustainable agricultural development.” He added that “this cooperation reinforces the principle of partnership between national institutions to serve and develop society.”

Ms. Margret Sarofim, Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, added that “the Ministry of Social Solidarity places special importance on the activities of the National Alliance and the Evangelical Organization, due to their effective role in implementing developmental projects aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens and enhancing social solidarity in line with the state’s vision for sustainable development.”
