President of the Evangelical Community Receives a Delegation of American Presbyterian Evangelical Leaders

The Evangelical Organization serves more than three million citizens annually through comprehensive development programs.

Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki, President of the Evangelical Community in Egypt and President of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS), received Rev. Maurice Youssef, pastor of the Presbyterian Evangelical Church in Los Angeles, along with a delegation of Presbyterian Evangelical leaders from churches in the state of California, USA.

Dr. Zaki welcomed the delegation, expressing his appreciation and pride in their visit. He emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and joint efforts to serve and develop the community and to promote the values of coexistence and peace.

During the meeting, Dr. Zaki presented a brief overview of the main activities of CEOSS, noting that “the organization serves more than three million citizens annually through comprehensive development programs in areas such as education, healthcare, economic empowerment, dialogue, and peacebuilding — all within a vision aimed at promoting social justice and achieving sustainable development in Egyptian society.”

The meeting included an open dialogue between CEOSS leaders and the American delegation, discussing the organization’s main areas of work, its diverse development programs, its pioneering experience in community service, and its role in supporting local communities through presidential initiatives and empowerment programs for marginalized groups.

The American delegation members expressed great admiration for CEOSS’s work, praising its ability to combine a spiritual mission with impactful community service. They commended its national role in promoting the values of citizenship and human dignity, stating that “the organization represents an inspiring model in integrating development work with community dialogue,” and expressed their desire to expand cooperation in areas of coexistence and the promotion of shared human values.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Momtaz Bishai, Vice President of CEOSS; Ms. Samira Louka, Head of the Dialogue Sector; Ms. Suzanne Sedky, Director of Upper Egypt Development Sites; Mr. Rafik Naguib, Director of Lower Egypt Development Sites; Ms. Amani Latif, Director of Dar El Thaqafa; Ms. Rania Rashad, Director of Fundraising; Ms. Iman Mamdouh, Director of Peacebuilding; Mr. Essam Wasif, Director of Public Relations; and Mr. Youssef Edward, Director of Media at CEOSS.
