A sports camp was organized for 40 street children in the community of Manshiyat Nasr by the Local Development Unit of the Evangelical Coptic Authority, in collaboration with the Akoun Foundation for Child and Community Development. The camp included a variety of group recreational games, physical activities, and artistic endeavors.
These activities aimed to promote positive behavior among the children and encourage them to reject negative behaviors such as violence, anger, and addiction. Additionally, clothing and shoes were distributed to all participating children in the camp to meet some of their basic needs.
This sports camp is a valuable initiative that contributes to promoting the health of children and enhancing a sense of cooperation and social integration. It also works towards reinforcing values of discipline and positive motivation within them.
