The white cane is a compensatory tool used by visually impaired individuals, relying on it to sense the way and avoid collisions with objects during their movement. Therefore, the Evangelical Coptic Organization for Social Services, in collaboration with the Early Intervention Educational Foundation, trained visually impaired individuals on the importance and how to use the white cane. They were also educated about the importance of their positive participation and enjoyment of their political rights, alongside 20 skilled volunteers in guidance and movement, on the occasion of the International White Cane Day.
