The play “Birth Certificate”

Since the Organization believes in the role of art and its impact on changing the behavior and spreading awareness, the issue was presented through the theatrical work “Birth Certificate”, which tells the story of a child who faces the difficulty of obtaining a birth certificate, but through a dramatic treatment, the child meets one of the Pharaohs’ kings and a dialogue takes place between them about him being one of descendants of the Egyptians and about citizenship, rights and duties.

This theatrical performance is the product of the work on the cause of advocacy in the Children in Danger program affiliate to the Local Development Unit of the Coptic Evangelical Organization, and it is enacted by the protagonists of the cause.
