Showing our pride in the heritage of our ancestors and the talents of our youth, the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS) organized the “Yesterday and Tomorrow” initiative in the Mokattam area. The aim of the initiative was to identify the various civilizational developments and the heritage characterized by diversity and difference, thus inspiring our youth to discover and develop their talents to spread and strengthen the values of citizenship and tolerance.
A number of 100 young men and women participated in the initiative. Its activities diversified to include a field visit to the Museum of Civilization, whose exhibits testify to Egypt’s embrace of diverse cultures that reflect coexistence and tolerance among religions. The young men and women’s creativity and talent were an expression of their having benefitted from the initiative.
