The Evangelical Organization lights up the village of Al-Iraqiya with medical, veterinary, and recreational services during the “One Hand” convoy.

The Coptic Evangelical Organization Participates in the “One Hand” Convoy in Monufia Governorate in Cooperation with the National Alliance for Civil Development Work

The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services, through its Local Development Unit, participated in the activities of the “One Hand” development convoy organized by the National Alliance for Civil Development Work in the village of Al-Iraqiya, located in Monufia Governorate. The event was attended by Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Monufia, and Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work.

During its participation, the Organization provided a range of integrated development services, including organizing an eye health convoy aimed at screening and early detection of eye diseases, along with offering treatment services and distributing prescription glasses. A total of 356 citizens benefited from the convoy, including 288 residents of Al-Iraqiya village. The services offered included medical examinations, treatment, eyeglasses, and referrals for surgical procedures when necessary.

As part of its efforts to support children’s psychological well-being and awareness, the Organization also held an educational and recreational carnival, which was attended by more than 300 children from the village.

In addition, the Organization conducted a comprehensive veterinary convoy to serve the residents of the village. This included checkups and preventive spraying for 600 heads of livestock and poultry, along with the provision of free treatment for infected cases.

This participation reflects the community and developmental role undertaken by the Coptic Evangelical Organization and falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation with state institutions and the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, aiming to reach the most vulnerable groups and contribute to achieving sustainable development across various governorates
