“Youth: Leaders of Change” Camp organized by the Cultural Dialogue Forum on Positive Engagement, Citizenship, and Belonging.

“Youth: Leaders of Change” – a camp organized by the Cultural Dialogue Forum focusing on positive engagement, citizenship values, and belonging. This camp is part of the Economic and Social Empowerment Program for girls in Upper Egypt, implemented in collaboration with the Egyptian Integrated Development Foundation (Al-Nadaa) and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Ninety young men and women from the village of Naway in Minya participated in this camp. The camp featured various sports and artistic activities designed to enhance initiative values. Among these activities was an interactive theater titled “East and West,” emphasizing the importance of raising awareness, positive participation, and dialogue. Intellectual discussions and group dialogues were conducted on the concept and applications of citizenship, addressing the challenges it faces. During these sessions, the youth shared innovative ideas about their role as leaders in promoting awareness of citizenship concepts, the significance of participation, and respecting diversity in their society.
