The Coptic Evangelical Organization honors the late Nabil Samuel in the presence of the elite of the Egyptian society

The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services organized, today, Friday, a ceremony honoring the late Dr. Nabil Samuel Abadier , the former general manager of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services, and the deputy chairman of the board of trustees of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, and the rapporteur of the Non-Governmental Organizations Committee of the National Council for Women, in the presence of Dr. Andrea Zaki, president of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, and head of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services; Dr. Mervat Akhanoukh, chairman of the board of directors of the Evangelical Organization; and Mr. Mumtaz Beshai, vice president of the Evangelical Organization, and a number of thought leaders and leaders of the Egyptian civil society, and leaders of the denomination and the Evangelical Organization.

The CEOSS Head said: “The Egyptian civil society, and the Evangelical Organization, lost a pioneer in the developmental work in Egypt, and a banner of the banners of CEOSS, who preserved the identity and mission of the institution and developed its role in serving all Egyptians.”

 Zaki added: “In my name, and on behalf of the board of directors of the CEOSS, and all who work in it, we extend our sincere thanks to all who participated in the celebration today, and we pray for the condolences of all the family members, and all his beloveds everywhere.”

The celebration was attended by: Mr. Hilmy Al-Namnam, , the former Minister of Culture; Mr. Abdel Qader Chehayeb, the writer and thinker and the former editor-in-chief of Dar Al-Hilal; Dr. Amany Kandil, the executive director of the Arab Network for Civil Organizations; Dr. Amna Nasir, the professor of doctrine at Al-Azhar University; Dr. Freddy Al-Bayadi, a member of the House of Representatives ; Ms. Magda Morris, the writer and film critic; Sheikh Jaber Taya, former head of the religious sector in the Ministry of Awqaf; Dr. Ayman Abdel Wahab, expert at Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies; Dr. Samir Alish, one of the civil society leaders; Dr. Anwar Moghith, former head of the National Center for Translation, and Sheikh Ibrahim Reda, of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
