Rev. Dr. Andre Zaki, president of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, and president of CEOSS, received Major General Ihab El-Shershaby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cairo Cleaning and Beautification General Authority, and an accompanying delegation.

The president the CEOSS welcomed the guests, expressing his appreciation for the role played by the General Authority of Cleaning and Beautification of Cairo, and for the great effort made by the Cairo Governorate to preserve and renovate the cultural scenes in Cairo.

During the meeting, they discussed a project protocol for implementing of 300 plant nurseries in various parts of Cairo governorate, through cooperation between CEOSS and Cairo General Authority of Cleaning and Beautification of Cairo, by providing the best types of seedlings and distinctive places, with the aim of employing the largest number of young people. They also discussed providing the necessary loans for the cost of the project, in addition to providing the necessary logistical and advisory support.

The president of CEOSS said: “We seek in CEOSS with every step to achieve the highest tangible benefit level for Egyptians, in addition to our constant keenness to serve the Egyptian community, and we are happy to cooperate with the General Authority of Cleaning and Beautification of Cairo.”

For his part, Major General Ihab El-Shershaby expressed his happiness to cooperate with CEOSS, which has the experience and history that makes joint work fruitful. El-Shershaby said: “We look forward to achieving civilized scenes appropriate for the Egyptian citizen, who deserves all respect and appreciation.”

Brigadier General Abd al-Hadi Shaaban, the Director General of the Authority, Eng. Mahmoud Mansour, the Director General of Projects, Eng. Hani Fouad, Director General of Distinctive Gardens, and Mr. Sabri El Gohary, Director of Public Relations and Media at the Authority. The attendees from CEOSS were as follows: Elder Essam Wasef, Public Relations director of CEOSS, Counselor Youssef Talaat, Legal Counsel to the Presidency of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, and Mr. Youssef Edward, Media Director of CEOSS.
