Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki receives the Dutch Ambassador

Rev. Dr. Andre Zaki, Head of the Evangelical Community in Egypt and Head of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services, received today, Tuesday, his Excellency Ambassador Hann Maurits, ambassador of the Netherlands to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The head of the Evangelical Church gave a presentation on the activity of the Evangelical community during the past time, and the leaders of the Evangelical Organization presented the activities of the organization in its various units and its participation in presidential initiatives in various governorates.

In his speech, the head of the Evangelical Church said: “The Egyptian state plays a historic role in supporting the culture of citizenship, freedom of worship, and its comprehensive vision of human rights. The Egyptian state is also witnessing, during the era of political leadership, firm steps towards the consolidating of the values ​​of the modern civil state.”

For his part, the Dutch ambassador praised the activity of the evangelical sect and the evangelical organization in the Egyptian society, and stressed his great appreciation of their national and developmental role in serving the Egyptians without discrimination.

The meeting was attended by leaders of the Coptic Evangelical Organization: Mr. Mumtaz Beshai, vice president of the Evangelical Organization, Ms. Samira Louka, senior head of dialogue sector in the Evangelical Organization, Ms. Margaret Saroufim, head of the local development sector, and Mr. Michael El Dabaa, head of the finance and investment sector.
