The Coptic Evangelical Organization Organizes a Training Meeting for Cairo Volunteers on Financial Inclusion
The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services organized a training meeting for its volunteers in Cairo on financial inclusion, with the participation of 35 volunteers, in cooperation with First Abu Dhabi Bank and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency in Cairo.
The meeting aimed to enable different segments of society to access formal financial services, such as bank accounts, electronic payments, loans, and insurance, in easy, safe, and affordable ways.
The training also addressed the mechanisms for opening bank accounts, the required procedures, as well as available lending opportunities and the steps for obtaining loans, starting from preparing economic feasibility studies for projects, through the application stages, and leading to the implementation of projects that contribute to improving income.
This training comes within the framework of preparing volunteers and transferring knowledge, as they play a key role in spreading the culture of financial inclusion among members of their surrounding communities.
The training meeting was implemented in coordination with Basmet Ebdaa Association.
