With the aim of achieving social and economic empowerment for girls in Upper Egypt, the Local Development Unit of the Evangelical Coptic Organization organized a celebration for the International Day of the Girl, as part of the implementation of the social and economic empowerment program for girls in Upper Egypt titled “Inter-Community Girls Empowerment” funded by the United States Agency for International Development in partnership with the Egyptian Foundation for Integrated Development (Al Nadaa). The event featured various activities, including a theatrical performance related to the social and economic rights of girls, and an artistic competition among girls showcasing their creativity through painting, logo design, poetry, and singing.
