The Evangelical Organization organizes a training workshop to protect women with disabilities
The Local Development Unit of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services held a training workshop entitled “Protecting Women with Disabilities and Protection Mechanisms”, with the participation of representatives from rehabilitation offices and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.
The workshop focused on highlighting the unique circumstances of women with disabilities and the challenges they face within the family and society, particularly non-traditional forms of violence. It also reviewed the legal and legislative framework related to their protection and the role of different institutions in this field.
The meeting contributed to strengthening cooperation and networking among the participating bodies, as well as exchanging perspectives and experiences in order to formulate practical mechanisms that ensure more effective protection for women with disabilities, thereby reinforcing the values of equality and social justice.
