The Evangelical Organization participates in humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip. Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki: Egypt’s intervention in attempting to stop the violence and supporting and aiding the Palestinians is the most rational approach. The stance of the Egyptian state and political leadership, amid escalating violence, reflects its concern for human safety and preserving the land above all else. The National Alliance for Egyptian State, led by Dr. Reverend André Zaki, President of the Evangelical Church in Egypt, commends the national role played by the National Alliance for Civil and Developmental Work. This role aligns with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in providing immediate support and humanitarian relief to our sister country, Palestine. This ongoing support is part of the continuous efforts of the Arab Republic of Egypt to alleviate the impact of the violent events, which have resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

This morning, the comprehensive caravans of the National Alliance for Civic Development and Dignified Life were launched. These caravans consist of nearly 106 trucks loaded with massive amounts of humanitarian aid, including a thousand tons of food, meat, 40,000 blankets, along with over 50,000 pieces of clothing and more than 300,000 boxes of medicines and medical supplies. All of this is aimed at supporting our brothers and sisters in Palestine who have been affected by the acts of violence perpetrated by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
Ms. Margaret Sarofim, Head of the Local Development Sector at the Evangelical Organization and member of the National Alliance for Civic Development and Dignified Life, stated, “The Evangelical Organization has contributed approximately 42 tons of dry food items, serving around 5,000 families, to support our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
