The Local Development Unit of the Coptic Evangelical Organization, in partnership with the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Al-Minya Governorate, organized an awareness meeting to combat the phenomenon of early marriage, with the participation of a number of representatives of the government, the media, as well as religious and civil agencies concerned with working to spread awareness and changing the culture of the society, directing them to follow positive practices and abandon negative phenomena related to child marriage, before the age of 18, which exposes them to health, social and legal risks.
