“Election of the Coptic Evangelical Organization to the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance: The Role of Margaret Sarofim and Dr. Andre Zaki’s Vision in Building Nationalism and Development”

The Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services was elected as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work during the first General Assembly of the Alliance, which was held yesterday, Wednesday. This election was in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 149 of 2024, issued by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to establish the Alliance and invite its institutions and entities to meet.

The Coptic Evangelical Organization expresses its happiness for the inclusion of Ms. Margaret Sarofim, Head of the Local Development Sector at the organization, as a member of the Board of Trustees. In this context, Dr. Rev. Andre Zaki, President of the organization, emphasized the importance of participating in the National Alliance as a national duty and reiterated the Alliance’s role in improving the lives of citizens in Egypt.

For her part, Margaret Sarofim expressed her gratitude and pride for the trust placed in her by the General Assembly members of the Alliance. She expressed her readiness to work diligently and sincerely with the other members of the Board of Trustees to serve citizens and achieve sustainable development in Egypt.
