Under the slogan “No to Child Labor,” the Coptic Evangelical Organization organizes an educational and sports camp for working children and their families.

Under the slogan “No to Child Labor,” and in conjunction with the World Day Against Child Labor, the Local Development Unit of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services organized the Early Childhood Development and Children at Risk Program. The event included working children and their families from the communities of Ezbet Khairallah, Al-Khalifa, and Manshiyat Naser through an educational and sports camp.

The camp featured sports and recreational activities, skill-building workshops, puppet shows, and various games. It also included storytelling sessions with children and their families to highlight the importance of a child’s right to education and recreation, and the need to avoid hazardous work environments. The children participated with banners expressing their need to combat child labor.

The camp was organized in collaboration with the National Center for Child Culture at the Cultural Park in the Sayeda Zeinab area, and it included about one hundred working children and their families.
