Within the framework of the activity of the Coptic Evangelical Organization, being a member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work; eleven marketing contracts were signed with the Center of Contract Agriculture in the Ministry of Agriculture and the directorates of agriculture in the governorates of Al Minya and Beni Suef, and the Research Center in Mallawi for the production of soybean, corn, sunflower oil and sesame crops in the governorates of Al Minya, Beni Suef and Sohag with a number of 200 small farmers.
Technical support visits to farmers were also made by the specialist consultant from the Research Center. This is done from the beginning of planting until harvest, as he follows-up and examines the plants and their condition, diagnosing in the cases of infection and writing suitable medicines for the infection in the recommended doses.
In Beni Suef Governorate, the Evangelical Organization organized a convoy for ophthalmology health in the village of Kafr Al-Jazira, Nasser location, to complete the work with the Health Directorate, targeting the villages most in need, for 200 beneficiaries, and distributing free treatment to (135) citizens provided by one of the pharmaceutical companies “Orchid Pharmaceutical Industries”. Through the examination, the need for (3) cataract operations, (6) pterygium, (3) lens implants, and (60) eyeglasses was discovered.
In the Ibshna community in Beni Suef Governorate, and in the presence of a specialist consultant from the Directorate of Agriculture, Agricultural Consultancy Department, nutrition classes were implemented for women, to educate them about the seven nutrients and the necessity of their presence in daily meals, and to provide them with the skills of using different vegetables grown within the community to make use of the useful nutrients when preparing meals with complete nutrients instead of buying them from outside.

Specialized rehabilitation sessions were implemented for people with disabilities, and a three-month intervention plan was developed for each child with a disability separately, which is commensurate with the mental and physical abilities of all disabilities. In addition to receptive language rehabilitation through exercises to strengthen the skill of writing, reading and justice; in addition to implementing health classes for adolescents with disabilities from the age of 11 to 18 years of all disabilities, males and females. Psychological support sessions were also implemented for the project of promoting the health rights of persons with disabilities, for families of persons with disabilities, and the impact of sexual assaults on their children with disabilities. A detailed explanation was given of the negative impact of abuse and physical attacks on children, and they were instructed on how to deal with these abuses in a healthy and appropriate way depending on the disability of their children without hurting them.
